**Hours of work:** 40 per week
**Salary : Step 1:** $CAN34.98/hour Step 2*: $CAN37.82/hour
* After the 90-day work probation period
**Your role
** The Civil Maintainer - Mobile Equipment is responsible to perform general maintenance for buildings, structures and grounds, inspecting and coordinating timber works, operating different types of equipment, performing semi-specialised civil, electrical and mechanical works to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of canal structures.

**Your Responsibilities
**
* Complete maintenance tasks associated with the proper housekeeping of buildings and Seaway grounds throughout the year, such as grass cutting, snow removal, landscaping, minor repairs and painting.
* Operate light to heavy equipment, vehicle and tools related to duties, including minor rigging, and log the working conditions of these as required.
* Assist in vessel transit by handling mooring lines and securing ships in lock chamber or approach walls.
**Your profile
**
* Have completed a high school diploma and specialized training in Civil Maintenance
* Have a valid Class 3 (QC) driver's licence with an insurable driving record
* Have at least three (3) years of experience related to general and civil maintenance
* Be comfortable with working at heights, depths, near open water and/or confined spaces
