Your place is with us! **Our advantages ** * Competitive remuneration, defined benefit pension fund and benefits * Generous paid leave to promote work-life balance * Employee and Family Assistance Program * Hybrid remote work to get the best of both worlds * Working hours: 37.5 hours per week with flexible schedule, possibility of overtime. * Professional development, wellness program and other benefits! **Your Responsabilities ** * Create, maintain and verify drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology, ensuring quality of content and conformance with standards and regulations; * Produce detailed designs for structures, systems & equipment, including performing calculations, material specifications, and design briefs. * Inspect and oversee mechanical construction work to ensure technical compliance, conformance with contracts, specifications, adjustments, regulations and site & equipment safety. * Act as a liaison between internal and external services, including contractors. **Your profile ** * College Diploma (D.E.C.) in mechanical engineering technology or a related field * Six (6) years of experience in the areas of computer-aided drawing design and inspection of mechanical construction work. * Experience and knowledge in CAD Technology (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD) as well as the Microsoft Office suite. * Good knowledge of drafting techniques, design, inspection and construction of frames/structures. * Eligibility for Security Clearance Ability to communicate in French and English * Eligibility for certification from the Order of Professional Technologists of Quebec. * Hold a certificate for the General Health and Safety on Construction Sites course awarded by ASP construction (asset) The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation is committed to diversity by encouraging an inclusive and equitable recruitment and work environment.
